This is where we get the ball rolling! During this call we discuss what behaviours you are looking to address and our range of services for you and your dog. We will guide you through our process, methods, and answer initial questions you may have.
next step: assessment (90 mins) $200
Our assessment is critical in helping us to get to know more about your dog, their background and behaviour and most importantly your goals. This allows us to understand the whole picture and how to optimise your training plan as much as possible. ‘Winging it’ doesn’t make sense for anyone involved. You will be provided with initial prep work for you to do between your assessment and training program to ensure you and your dog hit the ground running on day one.

Clarity is the name of the game. We start by going right back to basics, do you and your dog both know what is being asked? Does everyone know what the expectations are? What happens when behaviours are performed?

Not-so-basic obedience
Your dog knows the commands… they just don’t always listen.
Not-So-Basic Obedience is designed for dogs who have already learned the fundamentals like sit, down, come, and loose leash walking - but whose obedience falls apart the moment real life shows up. Maybe your dog listens perfectly in the living room but ignores you outside. Maybe recalls are optional, leash walking turns into pulling, or your dog decides when the rules apply.
This program is about turning basic skills into reliable habits.
We focus on building clarity, consistency, and follow-through so your dog understands that cues mean the same thing every time - not just when it’s convenient. Through structured exercises, marker-based communication, and real-world practice around distractions, we’ll strengthen your dog’s ability to listen and respond even when the environment gets interesting.
